Project Description

This letterpressed poster was designed and printed for visiting lecturer, Aaron Draplin and his visit to The University of Akron’s, Myer’s School of Art this past February. He hosted two workshops for design students, and a public lecture one evening that drew in over 200 people.

Technique

Poster is produced in-house using a 1967 Vandercook Universal III printing press. This process will produce a tactile feel where the ink is pressed into the surface creating an impression. Printed neon red ink on a high quality cover weight 100% cotton paper, 11″x17″.
