Project Description
In 2015, Artistry Engraving & Embossing Co. sponsored a professional print swap between many print shops across the world. The theme of this years print swap was insects & arachnids. The participants submitted artwork across multiple mediums; letterpress, screen printing, etching, and lithography. This print was awarded best of show.
Technique
Print was produced using a 1967 Vandercook Universal III printing press. This process will produce a tactile feel where the ink is pressed into the surface creating an impression. Printed 3 colors with a split fountain on a high quality cover weight 100% cotton paper, 8″x10″.
